Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Full Body MRI safe?
Yes - it’s completely safe. Our MRI uses no radiation, is non-invasive, and doesn’t require any contrast. It’s one of the most advanced ways to scan the body without harm.
How much does the servic cost?
The full screening package is EGP 19,750 and includes everything in one visit: a full-body MRI, diagnostic ultrasound (thyroid, abdomen/pelvis, and breast for women), a personalized digital report, and — most importantly — an immediate post-scan consultation with a radiologist. This face-to-face debrief is unique to Prevadu, ensuring you leave the clinic with clarity, not uncertainty. No hidden fees and no separate bookings - just one comprehensive, high-quality experience.
Is there a minimum age to do a Whole-body MRI scan?
While there’s no strict age limit, we generally recommend it for individuals aged 16 and older so that their body has developed.
How long should I plan for the appointment?
Our full screening experience includes both a 45-minute full-body MRI and a targeted ultrasound scan, along with a brief medical consultation and post-scan debrief.
Please plan to spend approximately 2 hours at the clinic from check-in to completion.

What’s the difference between MRI and ultrasound?
MRI gives a full-body internal scan using magnets (great for brain, spine, organs, joints). Ultrasound is used for targeted areas like thyroid, abdomen, pelvis, or breast.
How does Prevadu’s full-body MRI differ from other scans?
Unlike scans done after symptoms appear, we screen your entire body in one session detecting over 500 medical conditions at their earliest stages before they become problems.
The scan is radiation-free, non-invasive, and part of a complete experience that includes an ultrasound, consultation, and a personalized report.
Your results are interpreted by specialist radiologists with deep expertise in whole-body preventive imaging — ensuring exceptional accuracy, clinical insight, and peace of mind.

What happens if the scan detects something abnormal?
If we detect something that needs follow-up, you’ll be informed clearly and compassionately. Your report will highlight the finding and include recommendations for next steps, whether that’s a referral to a specialist, additional testing, or lifestyle advice.

How often should I get a Prevadu scan?
For most people, we recommend a full-body screening once a year as part of your preventive health routine. However, the right frequency can vary based on your age, risk factors, and medical history.
Your radiologist or care team will include personalized follow-up recommendations in your report.

Does preventive care save money?
Yes. Studies show that every $1 invested in evidence-based preventive programs yields up to $5.60 in healthcare savings, according to the Trust for America’s Health. In workplace settings, comprehensive wellness programs have reported returns of $3–$6 for every $1 spent, thanks to lower treatment costs and improved productivity.
Can preventive care actually increase life expectancy?
Absolutely. Research shows that regular screenings and checkups, especially between ages 30–49, can significantly extend life expectancy without increasing total healthcare costs. Lifestyle prevention, such as walking 5,000 steps three times a week for two years, has been linked to adding up to 3 years to your life and lowering healthcare costs by as much as 13%.
Why invest in early detection if I feel fine?
Many serious conditions — like cancer and aneurysms — can exist silently for years. Preventive screening helps catch these issues before symptoms appear, when treatment is simpler, outcomes are better, and costs are lower. It's about staying ahead, not reacting late.
How do I receive my results?
Your results are delivered securely via email or WhatsApp within a 14 days. The report includes clear visuals, a medical summary, and a plain-language explanation — so it’s easy to understand and take action if needed.
Will I understand the results?
Yes — your report includes medical and plain-English explanations. You’ll also have a brief debrief after your scan to ask questions and get clarity.
